To become an accredited Restorative Justice Practitioner, you must obtain credits in the following foundation subjects:

  • 40-Hour Restorative Justice Training, or 24-Hour Bridging Course for Accredited Mediators
  • 16 Hour Criminal & Procedure Law

What is Restorative Justice?

Restorative Justice Practitioners assist parties involved in criminal, community, and school disputes in addressing their differences outside of the traditional formal court processes.

Restorative Justice may be applied at any stage after the crime or offence had been committed up to the stage where the offender is considered to be released on parole.
